MOUT OOTW is a predetermined walk accompanied by a text-sound composition. The walk took place in New
York, and the route was 7 East 7th Street - down to the Astor Place Subway Station, and then back again. With
slight variations depending on the traffic lights. The text-sound composition consists of sounds from the exact
same route as it later was presented, the sounds from the private listening sphere thus merge with the street noise
at the time when it is presented, in a manner where it is difficult to determine what is what. The walk is based on
a text by Henning Lundkvist and read by Lisa Larson-Walker. It was presented April 13 through July 6, 2009.
